We are the union that represents over 600 employees of the Upper Grand D. S. B. who are Daily Occasional Teachers and/or Long Term Occasional Teachers.

We are one of 31 Occasional Teacher Locals in Ontario and belong to the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (E.T.F.O., F.E.E.O.), which represents over 83 000 educational workers in Ontario.

Our mission is to promote the members' professional status.
This will be accomplished through Professional Learning, Collective Bargaining, Political Action, and Professional Relations Services using a variety of communication strategies.
